Terms of Use for Waymaker

Waymaker is a Christian motivation app designed to help users build daily faith-based habits through devotionals, Bible verses, journaling, gratitude, blessings, reminders, widgets, faith-based music, and related spiritual encouragement features.

Waymaker is intended to support personal reflection, encouragement, and consistency in your faith walk. It is not intended to replace Scripture, church community, pastoral counsel, professional counseling, medical care, emergency services, or any other form of professional support.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Waymaker.

If you are under 18, you may use Waymaker only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Waymaker is not intended for children under 13. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you have the legal ability, or appropriate parent/guardian permission, to agree to these Terms.

Waymaker may allow users to create accounts using methods such as Sign in with Apple, Google login, email/password, guest/anonymous login, or other supported login methods.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

If you use Waymaker as a guest or anonymous user, some features or data may not transfer if you delete the App, change devices, sign out, or later create a different account.

Your use of Waymaker is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information.

By using Waymaker, you agree that we may collect and use information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Waymaker provides Christian motivational, devotional, spiritual, and faith-based content for personal encouragement and reflection.

We do not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, relational, financial, health, business, or life outcome from using Waymaker.

The content in the App is intended to encourage and support your faith journey, but it should not be treated as a guarantee, prophecy, diagnosis, treatment plan, counseling plan, or professional instruction.

Waymaker does not provide medical, mental health, therapy, counseling, financial, legal, or other professional advice.

The App is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, therapy or counseling, pastoral care, financial advice, legal advice, emergency services, or professional diagnosis or treatment.

If you need professional support, please contact a qualified professional.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, or immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number right away.

Waymaker is not designed for crisis intervention.

If you are thinking about harming yourself or others, feel unsafe, or are experiencing an emergency, please call emergency services immediately.

If you are in the United States and experiencing a mental health crisis, you may call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Waymaker should not be used as your only source of support during crisis situations.

Waymaker may include Bible verses, devotional reflections, motivational content, and faith-based interpretations.

Bible verses may be presented from translations such as KJV, ASV, WEB, or other available translations.

Devotional reflections and faith-based content are prepared and reviewed for the purpose of Christian encouragement and personal reflection. While we aim to provide thoughtful and uplifting content, we do not guarantee that all users, churches, denominations, pastors, or faith leaders will agree with every interpretation, reflection, or devotional message.

You are encouraged to read Scripture for yourself, seek wisdom, pray, and consult trusted spiritual leaders when appropriate.

Waymaker may allow you to create journal entries, reflections, gratitude notes, blessings, and other personal content.

You retain ownership of the personal content you create in Waymaker.

By entering content into the App, you give Waymaker Co. a limited permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the App features to you.

You are responsible for the content you enter into the App. Please do not enter information that you do not want stored or processed.

Waymaker does not currently provide public prayer request posting or anonymous public posting features.

Waymaker may offer free and paid subscription features.

Premium features may include premium widgets, full or expanded Waymaker Music access, additional daily activities, advanced customization, premium devotional or reflection experiences, and other premium content or features added over time.

Premium features may change, expand, or be adjusted as the App grows.

Waymaker may offer a free trial for certain subscription plans.

Free trials are subject to the terms shown at the time of purchase. Unless canceled before the trial ends, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription through Apple.

You are responsible for reviewing the trial details, renewal date, and pricing before starting a free trial.

Waymaker subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase.

Subscriptions may be offered as monthly, yearly, or other available plans.

Prices may vary by region and may change over time.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period, according to Apple’s subscription terms.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Deleting the Waymaker App or deleting your Waymaker account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.

We do not directly process refunds for Apple In-App Purchases. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies.

Waymaker uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and premium access.

Waymaker may use subscription status, RevenueCat entitlement information, and Firebase records to determine whether your account has access to premium features.

There may be times when premium access is delayed, interrupted, or temporarily unavailable due to technical issues, Apple processing, RevenueCat syncing, Firebase availability, network problems, or other service interruptions.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore proper access, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted premium access at all times.

We may add, remove, modify, limit, redesign, or discontinue free or premium features at any time.

This may include changes to music availability, widget designs, premium customization options, daily activities, devotional content, app layout, streak features, reminder features, and other App features.

We do not guarantee that any specific feature, song, devotional, widget preset, design, or content item will remain available forever.

We will not intentionally mislead users about what is included in a paid subscription.

Waymaker Music is provided for personal, non-commercial listening within the App.

All Waymaker Music tracks are owned by Waymaker Co. or used with appropriate rights.

Unless we give you written permission, you may not copy Waymaker Music, download or rip music from the App, redistribute music, sell or license music, upload music to another platform, use music in videos/ads/podcasts/streams or other content, publicly perform the music, remix/sample/alter the music, claim ownership of the music, or use the music for commercial purposes.

Waymaker Music is streaming-only unless we expressly provide another option.

Access to certain music may require a premium subscription.

Songs, playlists, collections, album art, and music availability may change at any time.

Waymaker may provide local reminders, widgets, custom widget text, gratitude prayers, blessings, music favorites, and other local device-based features.

Some features may be stored only on your device and may not sync across devices.

If you delete the App, clear app data, change devices, or reset your device, local-only data may be lost.

Waymaker is not responsible for lost local data, missed reminders, widget display issues, or device-related limitations.

You agree not to misuse Waymaker.

You may not use the App for unlawful purposes; attempt to access another user’s account or data; attempt to bypass subscription restrictions; share, sell, or misuse premium access; copy/scrape/reproduce/redistribute App content; copy/download/rip/redistribute Waymaker Music; reverse engineer/decompile/tamper with the App; interfere with Firebase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, Apple systems, or other service providers; upload malware or harmful code; abuse support channels; use the App in a way that harms Waymaker, other users, or third parties; or violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Waymaker and its content are owned by Waymaker Co. or its licensors.

This includes the App name, logos, branding, app design, user interface, graphics, icons, devotional content, reflections, music, audio, album art, widget designs, text, software, features, layouts, and other App content.

You may use Waymaker only for personal, non-commercial purposes according to these Terms.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from Waymaker content unless we give you written permission.

Subject to these Terms, Waymaker Co. grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use.

This license does not give you ownership of the App or any Waymaker content.

We may revoke this license if you violate these Terms.

Waymaker may rely on third-party services for app functionality, including authentication, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, payment processing, and media delivery.

These services may include Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store / StoreKit, Cloudflare R2, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics (if added in the future), and other services added in the future.

We are not responsible for outages, errors, data delays, policy changes, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

Your use of Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, or other third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

If you download or use Waymaker through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for Waymaker, its content, maintenance, support, subscriptions, or claims related to the App, except as required by Apple’s applicable terms.

Your use of Waymaker may also be subject to Apple’s App Store terms, Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and other applicable Apple policies.

You may delete your Waymaker account through the Settings page in the App.

Deleting your account is designed to delete account-related data associated with your account, including Firebase-based journal entries, streak data, activity records, and other account-based records where technically and legally possible.

Some local data may remain on your device unless you delete the App or clear app data.

Deleting your Waymaker account does not cancel your Apple subscription. You must cancel active subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Waymaker if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the App or other users, misused premium features, infringed intellectual property, or used the App unlawfully.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Waymaker at any time.

We may release updates to fix bugs, improve features, add content, remove content, improve security, or make other changes.

Some features may not work properly if you do not install the latest version of the App.

We do not guarantee that Waymaker will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.

Waymaker is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, will be error-free, will meet your expectations, content will produce any particular result, premium features will always be uninterrupted, music streaming will always work without delay, reminders/widgets will always function perfectly, or that any devotional/reflection/faith-based content will apply to every user’s situation.

You use Waymaker at your own discretion and risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waymaker Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Waymaker.

This includes damages related to loss of data, lost profits, loss of goodwill, app interruptions, subscription issues, music streaming issues, missed reminders, widget errors, device issues, emotional distress, spiritual disappointment, reliance on App content, unauthorized account access, and third-party service interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Waymaker will not exceed the amount you paid to Waymaker for the App or subscription during the three months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Waymaker Co. from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of Waymaker, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, your violation of another person’s rights, your unauthorized use of Waymaker content or music, or your attempt to bypass premium access or app security.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at support@waymaker-app.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the App, website, or other appropriate means.

Your continued use of Waymaker after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App.
